Insulin booster: Accelerated body building without storing body fat

WHAT ARE INSULIN BOOSTERS?

Insulin boosters are, as the name suggests, products that "boost" (= intensify) the effect of insulin in the body. Insulin, in turn, is a hormone produced naturally in the body by the pancreas. The body secretes it in response to high blood glucose levels - the insulin then causes the nutrients in the blood to be pulled out and transported into the body's cells. Ideally, they end up in the cells of the muscles. In the less ideal case, they end up in the fat cells. Insulin is a double-edged sword: it can promote muscle growth - or fat growth. The decisive factor is how the body deals with an insulin release. And that's exactly why you should buy an insulin booster.

EFFECT OF INSULIN BOOSTERS

To understand how an insulin booster works, you need to know that and why insulin sensitivity is an important factor in terms of muscle building (and fat building). So here comes an ultra-short "crash" course on insulin and energy metabolism:

  1. Whenever we consume food containing carbohydrates or sugar, our body releases insulin. Insulin makes the body's cells receptive to absorb nutrients.
  2. If the muscle cells are "empty" - because the muscles have been exercised and their energy supply has been used up - then sugar is preferentially channeled into the muscle cells, where it is stored in the form of glycogen. The liver also takes up some sugar. Another portion moves into the fat cells.
  3. If the muscles are full or if the supply of sugar is so great that the muscles cannot absorb it all, then practically all the absorbed sugar ends up in the fat cells. 
    For this reason, sugary foods are best taken only after exercise (and never when you are actually already full).
  4. The more frequently the body releases insulin, the less sensitive the muscle cells are to it. As a result, sugar and other nutrients are less easily absorbed by the muscles and circulate in the blood for longer. The longer they circulate in the blood, however, the more insulin the body releases, so that more and more nutrients migrate into the fat cells. In the worst case, diabetes (type 2) develops in the end. In this disease, the muscles and liver no longer respond to insulin at all. The sugar is converted directly into fat or is deposited in the vessels, which can lead to disruptions in blood flow and ultimately to dying limbs (see "diabetic foot").
  5. Bottom line: high insulin sensitivity not only promotes muscle growth, but also prevents obesity and diabetes.

Insulin boosters now cause muscles' sensitivity to insulin to increase, so they can better absorb glucose and other nutrients - such as amino acids, creatine and other anti-catabolic agents. INTAKE

Since insulin boosters can only exert their effect when insulin is released, they should be taken immediately before meals. Meals that contain only a few carbohydrates (such as scrambled eggs without garnish) do not count.
